Finance Mandarin was invited to host a Greater Bay Area workshop for Manulife on July 17th, 2019.

About Ivan Chan:

Ivan Chan is Chief Agency Officer, Manulife (International) Limited, taking charge of the ongoing development of Manulife's growth-focused agency force in Hong Kong and Macau. He is also responsible for driving agency productivity and professionalism, as well as overseeing the formulation of sales incentive campaigns and sales training programs for the agency channel.

Mr. Chan was named one of the company's Global Stars of Excellence in 2015 and awarded the Asia Stars of Excellence on two prior occasions. He holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.

He had committed a 30-hour Leadership communication skill with Vienne Lee. After seeing great results in mastering Mandarin communication with Chinese stakeholders, he approved extra funding to invite Vienne Lee to organize a tailor-made workshop to bring benefits to his team.

This is the bespoke Greater Bay Workshop related to Wealth Connect for Insurance giants. During the workshop, Vienne Lee demonstrated how to leverage the benefits and features of the Finance Mandarin AI platform to strengthen the use of financial Mandarin and effectively improve sales and negotiation skills.

Finance Mandarin Helps Manulife for Peak Performance

During the workshop, Vienne Lee demonstrated how to leverage the benefits and features of the Finance Mandarin AI platform to strengthen the use of financial Mandarin and effectively improve sales and negotiation skills. 

Vienne Lee encouraged the Manulife institutional distribution team to “log in to the Finance Mandarin platform to follow the latest financial news and learn Mandarin skills anytime, anywhere.”

Questions are focused in the workshop:

1. What is the Greater Bay Area?

2. What is the positioning of HK in the Greater Bay Area?

3. What are the challenges insurance industries from HK will face?

4. What services can be provided by the insurance service center in Greater Bay Area in the future?

With this workshop, participants from Manulife have a clearer understanding of the concept of the Greater Bay Area, the role they will play in the Greater Bay Area, and the upcoming challenges.
